The production of lighter, high-performance models with optimised ergonomics begins.
Overail has obtained homologation from Rete Ferroviaria Italiana for the optimised version of the RFI-240 sleepers for conventional lines and RFI-260 for high-speed lines.
These two models are the standard sleepers on main Italian railway lines. Manufactured to comply with the most recent European standards, RFI-240 and 260 allow interconnection and interoperability with other European railway networks, as well as the transit of fully loaded trains.
These sleepers, produced with a state-of-the-art pre-tensioned system, are lighter, making transport and laying more efficient and have an optimised ergonomic shape to minimise accidental damage during installation and track maintenance.
