It offers simplified installation and significantly reduces maintenance costs, overcoming the limitations of traditional ballastless tracks. Minimal service interruption
Slabs can be installed during temporary or partial track possession by means of a patented laying system. This allows railway traffic to resume before mortar is poured, thanks to temporary supports that can withstand railway loads.
Correct position of rail seats
FAST NG slabs, produced using a variable geometry system developed and patented by Overail, ensure the correct positioning of rail seats on bends.
Compliance with alignment tolerance
During installation, the temporary supports and variable geometry system ensure full compliance with design tolerances, without the need for adjustments allowed by the adjustable fastening system.
Maintenance over time
The inherent adjustment range of the fastening system is left entirely at the disposal of the infrastructure manager for any future maintenance.
Easy slab replacement
Thanks to the separation mat, prefabricated slabs are easily replaced in exceptional circumstances, by re-inserting the bolts into the original seats of the temporary supports.
Customisation
The system is available in multiple configurations to meet various needs, such as vibration and noise reduction, emergency vehicle access, or the installation of a third rail.
